South Korean automaker KG Mobility Company (KGM) introduced it plans to launch a battery-powered pickup truck, the Musso EV, within the first quarter of 2025.
The corporate, recognized beforehand as Ssangyong Motor earlier than it was acquired by a consortium led by native metal and chemical substances agency KG Group in late 2022, goals to turn into the primary South Korean automaker to provide a battery-powered pickup truck.
Together with the brand new pickup truck, KG Mobility will relaunch Musso as its devoted pickup truck sub-brand – a nameplate that was initially established by Ssangyong Motor for its sturdy SUVs which mixed the practicality of an SUV with the cargo capability of a pickup truck.
